David is Partnership Manager at Momentum Skills North East. He responsible for the day to day operations and development of the Momentum skills vocational rehabilitation and community integration programmes which support individuals across the north east region with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions.

David joined Momentum in 2007 initially as a job coach before moving into his current position; he joined the Northern Neurological Alliance in May 2012. Prior to his roles at Momentum, David worked as a learning mentor at Gosforth High School and Gosforth West Middle School supporting low achieving students with academic studies and fully achieving their potential. A large part of this role included the support of students with special educational needs and the transition process from middle to high school.

David has a personal interest in the support and welfare of individuals with stroke and acquired brain injury and his role at Momentum adds a professional perspective to this. Through his work, David has a particular interest in welfare to work, supported employment and social enterprise. David is also the vice-chair of the North of Tyne Neurological Forum, and the Chairman of the Headway Tynedale group
